Students and teachers, led by the Rector of VUTP, joined the initiative "Let's plant a tree, revive the Bulgarian forest"

Students and professors from the Higher School of Telecommunications and Post reunited after months of pandemics. The reason for this was the green initiative of President Rumen Radev, which aims to improve the green areas of Bulgaria and revive the Bulgarian forests.

While the gene. Radev, members of his team and the Presidential Administration are afforesting a mountainous area, and the team of the Higher School of Telecommunications and Post has made its yard unrecognizable with the seedlings kindly donated by the nurseries to the state forestry.

"We are here to show our attitude not only to the place where we work and study, but also to nature, putting part of our own emotion and attitude. There is something symbolic that today - on the day of St. Lazarus, the symbol of health and longevity in the folk tradition, we ennobled the yard of our university, because right here, we sow knowledge that grows into success. The planted saplings will grow large trees and this is part of our heritage, which we pass on to future generations. " colleagues, I hope that we will continue this green idea and get even more involved in the autumn. ”

The students from the Higher School of Telecommunications and Posts have committed to take care of the trees and assured that this will not be their last initiative.

"It's great that together we can make the place we live cleaner and greener. Planting trees in the spring is a great initiative that we managed to implement, albeit under quarantine, "said the students of the university.
