ONLINE LECTURES IN GENETICS - A JOINT PROGRAM WITH A PARTNING UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA

The Department of Medical Genetics at the Medical Faculty of MU - Sofia will host online lectures aimed at students from our partner university in Georgia - European University - Tbilisi. This is the first joint activity between the two institutions under a signed Agreement on cooperation in the field of medicine.
The memorandum is the basis for other agreements between our two universities for the exchange of students and teachers, as well as for other international events, conferences and congresses.
The lectures will be held in the period May 10-21, 2021 through the Google Meet platform and cover topics in the field of reproductive genetics, chromosomal, mitochondrial and congenital metabolic disorders, organization of the human genome.
Leading lecturers from our side will be Prof. Dr. Savina Hadjidekova, Prof. Dr. Ivanka Dimova and others.
The working language of the program is English, and finally students will receive a certificate for participation in online lectures with an international partner.
