Do I need to get an IELTS score if I wish to study in the UK? Are there too many entry
requirements?

No, it is not mandatory to have and IELTS score to qualify for admission to UK in most cases. I myself am currently studying in University of Bedfordshire, UK and am pursuing my Masters in Business Management and have not given an IELTS exam. However, every university will have some criteria

You will need to prove that you have adequate language proficiency and must have more than 60 to 70% score in English for your higher secondary. If you are looking for a PG program you will additionally need to provide an MOI & an SOP as well.
