Admission of foreign students starts at VU: 60 international study programs are offered

Vilnius University (VU) has started admitting foreign citizens. 2022 VU offers foreign students a choice of 16 bachelor's degree programs, 42 master's degree programs and two integrated study programs.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of international students at VU grew last year . 438 students were accepted for international admission  , mostly from Germany. Students from the USA, Ukraine, India, Turkey and Nigeria also choose to study at VU.  2022 An even higher number of foreign students is expected  in. 

Foreign nationals are already eligible for admission to 16 undergraduate programs, including accounting and auditing, economics, marketing, information systems and cybersecurity, and global policy challenges. Information about all undergraduate programs and admission procedures can be found here.

42 master's degree programs are also open to foreign students, including biochemistry, biophysics, nanomaterial chemistry, data science, digital marketing, high-tech business, international and European law, Eastern European and Russian studies, molecular biology, neurobiology, nanotechnology, and more. Information about all master's degree programs and admission procedures can be found here.

Admission to integrated medical and dental studies in English will begin in 2022. January 1

Applications for foreign citizens who need a visa to enter and study in Lithuania will be submitted until 2022. June 1 If a visa is not required, entrants can apply until 2022. July 15
